Disconnect a broker account

Remove a broker connection and revoke third-party access safely.

  1. Open Broker Connections and open the menu on the connection card.
  2. Select Disconnect or Remove and confirm.
  3. In your broker's security settings, revoke the API key or third-party access used for Trade Optic.
Disconnecting stops future syncs. Previously imported trades remain in your journal unless you delete them separately.
Never send your broker password, complete API key, authentication token or payment details through email, direct messages or support chat. Only enter connection details inside Trade Optic’s secure broker-connection form. If a credential may have been exposed, revoke it through your broker immediately.
