How broker credentials are stored

Encryption and handling of IG and connection credentials.

Broker credentials submitted through Trade Optic are encrypted at rest on our servers. MT5 passwords are entered only on MetaApi and never stored by Trade Optic.

Never send your broker password, complete API key, authentication token or payment details through email, direct messages or support chat. Only enter connection details inside Trade Optic’s secure broker-connection form. If a credential may have been exposed, revoke it through your broker immediately.
